We welcome you and your family to Lægårdens Camping, which is located in South Zealand in Karise near Faxe, Køge and Møn.

Cozy campsite with everything

The campsite is located in Karise in South Zealand near Køge and Møn. The campsite is founded in 1964, and has been in the family since.

We are constantly trying to make new initiatives and in recent years we have, among other things, had the pleasure of taking part of our new service building as well as our large party room / living room into use and hope that you will enjoy it.

Camping

Our campsite is located between Køge and Møn in an area rich in nature and open skies.

Cabins

Get close to nature and at the same time get a sense of homely idyll without compromising on comfort.

For kids

When you are on a farm holiday at Lægårdens Camping there is never a dull moment for the children.

Camping holiday near Næstved and Køge

A camping holiday in South Zealand at Lægårdens Camping is a holiday you look forward to. You have the opportunity to use the campsite’s many facilities, such as bathing and family rooms, tumble dryers and washing machines. You can also put your feet up in our living room with TV or hold an event in our party room, with space for no less than 130 people. The campsite is open all year round, so you have the opportunity to experience nature in all its seasons. You can read more about our facilities here.

At the campsite, you have the option of staying in a cabin, tent, caravan and mobile home. We offer both large and small pitches as well as smaller and larger cabins. You can book a pitch so that there is room for your caravan or tent. If you have your own caravan or tent with you on camping, you can check in from 14. Payment for camping must be made before 12 and departure before 14 on your last day. If you have rented a cabin or a mobile home, you can check in from 14 and must leave before 11.

We want camping to be an easy and good holiday option for the whole family. Therefore, we ensure that the setting is created for pleasant moments and with plenty of opportunities to get close to nature. Book your next camping holiday in South Zealand here.

Do you want to camp in scenic surroundings?

Lægårdens Camping in South Zealand offers many surrounding opportunities to combine leisure and camping. Close to the campsite you can experience Faxe Kalkbrud, Det Blå Marked in Haslev, which is an indoor hawker’s market where you can buy everything from spices and local sausage to furniture and jewellery. You can also enjoy a cup of coffee or have lunch in the cafeteria.

Bonbon land is also a good option, especially if you have children with you or perhaps you yourself want a bit of wind in your hair on one of the many rides. Geocenter Møns Klint, Knuthenborg Safari park and much more are also good options for excursions with great entertainment value close to the campsite. All of this is within a reasonable driving distance from Lægårdens Camping and something that the whole family can take part in. In Vallø, close to Næstved, you can experience Vallø Castle and Slotspark as well as play a game of golf on the Vallø golf course. In other words, the campsite in South Zealand is well situated for going on a trip and experiencing what Danish culture and nature has to offer.

Camping in South Zealand

South Zealand offers many unique experiences. The forest tower at Camping Camp Adventure is a good trip for young and old, as the path to the forest tower is wheelchair-friendly and very smooth to walk on. The walk to the tower goes through the beautiful forest. The tower stands 135 meters above sea level and offers an enormously beautiful view over the surrounding nature. In addition, Camp Adventure also offers many other activities that can be fun for your family to take part in.
In South Zealand, it is also possible to visit Holmegaard Værk close to Næstved, which is the Nordic living museum for glass, ceramics and design. At the Cold War Museum at Stevnsfort in South Zealand, you can get a tour and hear about how it happened when the fort was active and was used as a piece of NATO’s defense during the Cold War.
